I was raised in New Jersey (Please don’t hold that against me.) and am the oldest of seven kids. At the age of 19 I enlisted in the United States Air Force. After being honorably discharged, I attended college in Michigan and then moved to Colorado where I got married and then became a father. My working career spanned 25 years at United Parcel Service. Retirement has been filled with various short-term jobs and, whenever possible, playing and umpiring baseball.

Moving to Firestone in 2008 gave me the opportunity to serve my community in several ways. Residing in Stoneridge, I became a member of the HOA board and guided the HOA as we gained independence from the developer. A few years later I was appointed to the Firestone Park and Trails Committee (now it’s a Commission).

In 2016 I had the honor of being appointed Trustee and was in that position until 2018. Shortly after my Trustee term ended, I was appointed as a Planning & Zoning Commissioner and served in that capacity until the fall of 2025.

2025 was a year of much controversy involving the Board of Trustees and the Town Manager. Citizens began to mobilize with the birth of the Recall movement being the result. In the Spring of 2025, a Trustee resigned thus creating the need for an election in November 2025. When you elected me a year ago, a clear message for reform was sent. I entered the office of Trustee as part of that movement for positive change. Since then, my focus has been on earning your trust and working alongside you to rebuild our local government.

My actions reflect my character, and I am committed to maintaining that standard. While always striving to grow, I consistently align my personal and professional life with the following core values: honesty, dependability, transparency, accountability, critical thinking, and active listening.

As a Trustee, I don’t have a personal agenda. I am honored to have been elected by the citizens of Firestone and firmly believe that I am “Elected to Represent, Committed to Listen and Driven to Action”.

Together, let’s make Firestone an even better place to call home, to raise a family and to have fun!

It’s no secret that over the last twelve months, the Board of Trustees has faced significant upheaval through resignations, recalls and extended absence. Now it’s time to focus on the work ahead. My goal is to earn your vote, listen to your ideas, and work alongside you to guide our Town through these challenges toward a brighter future.
